Garden view
This extended open plan rear area of a Victorian house has a garden view and plenty of natural light. The kitchen has been built parallel to the side wall so that the garden is the focal point of the room.
Top and bottom left: The use of a Teak frame and worktop on the cupboards gives a soft, more mellow appearance and provides a connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces. Above: the dark island unit acts as a low wall dividing the adjacent dining area from the kitchen
Left: The angled upper units with sliding front panels allow for easy access without the hazard of opening doors.
