About Tim Newbold

I have been designing and installing bespoke cupboards and kitchens for over 25 years, mostly in London. After an endless amount of traditional cupboards and old pine kitchens I set up Domus Furniture in the mid 90s, specialising in a more contemporary style, after being inspired by a pile of old Italian Domus magazines which I found while on holiday.

It's come full circle and alongside the latest modern materials are now piles of old reclaimed timber as I find myself creating items in old pine again.

Along the way I have designed, built and sold one Grand Design and am in the middle of another. The contemporary London house in STOKE NEWINGTON gave way to the cabin in Worcestershire called JOANS’S HOLE.

I have fallen in love with all forms of occasional tables, from bedside to side and coffee tables. To make it more fun and comprehensive and to indulge my passion for finding and restoring them, I have included vintage tables as well, coming soon.
